Word to PDF — and then sign it

Got a contract or form as a Word file? Open it and it becomes a PDF you can sign, date and send.

Free for 7 days, then $14.99 once — no subscription. After the trial you can still add one document a day for free.

How it works

  1. Choose Open file and pick the .docx, .rtf or .txt file.
  2. It is laid out on Letter (or A4 on iPhone, if that's your setting) as real, selectable text.
  3. Sign it, add text or dates, redact anything private, or merge it with other pages.
  4. Save the PDF or share it straight from the app.

Why Armadillo Scan

Text stays text

The converted PDF is searchable and selectable, not a picture of a page.

Keeps headings and lists

Titles, paragraphs and bullet lists come across in order.

One step to signed

No separate converter and signing app — it's the same screen.

Private

Conversion happens on your device.

Questions

Which Word files work?

Modern Word documents (.docx), RTF and plain text. Older .doc files need saving as .docx first.

Will the layout match Word exactly?

On iPhone the layout closely follows Word's own preview. In the browser the text, headings and lists are kept but complex layouts (columns, text boxes) are simplified.
