How it works

  1. On iPhone, tap Receipt. Long till receipts can be photographed in sections — they're stitched together.
  2. The shop, date and each line item with quantity and price are read automatically.
  3. Check the category (groceries, hardware, fuel, dining, travel…) and fix anything the scan misread.
  4. Open Expenses to see what you spent this month, this year or all time — with the receipts behind every figure.

Yes — photograph a long receipt in overlapping sections and they are stitched into one.

No. Reading the receipt and keeping the totals both happen on your iPhone.

The web app shows your expense totals read-only when you sign in with the same iCloud account; scanning receipts is done on iPhone.
